- In collaboration with Business Account Executive(s), assess clients' needs and prepare accurate documentation to address client exposures
- Provide solutions to client issues while meeting insurer obligations
- Proactively manage accounts to ensure strong retention
- Ensure accurate and timely servicing and billing of accounts
- Place new clients with insurers in accordance with binding authorities and underwriting guidelines
- Adhere to established new business protocols with appropriate risk selection and documentation (including EPIC)
- Input standard applications into EPIC as received by Business Account Executive(s) and prepare proposals as required
- Review all policy documents for accuracy prior to delivery
- Advise Business Account Executive(s) of any limitations of coverage
- Obtain and document all necessary information for requested changes
- Process policy changes efficiently and accurately
- Review renewals for accuracy, including exclusions and warranties
- Collaborate with Business Account Executive(s) to address coverage gaps or additional insurance requirements
- Follow established renewal review protocols
- Guide clients through the claims process to support informed decision-making
- Complete claims reports and transmit to insurers; document activities in EPIC
- Follow up with clients to ensure satisfaction with claims handling
- Notify clients of non-renewal and secure alternative market options to prevent coverage lapses
- Explore and document reasons for cancellation requests
- Process cancellations in accordance with company and insurer guidelines
- Coordinate reinstatement where applicable
- Respond promptly to client inquiries with the goal of exceeding expectations
- Maintain current knowledge of insurer products, underwriting rules, and requirements
- Ensure organized and up-to-date client files in EPIC and Policy Works
- Participate in internal and external professional development opportunities
- Complete a minimum of 8 continuing education hours annually
- Refer Life and Health leads internally
- Contribute positively as an engaged and collaborative team member
- Adhere to standard operating procedures and organizational guidelines
- RIBO licensed; working toward or completion of CAIB preferred
- Experience with Applied EPIC.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Proven track record of delivering high-level client service
- Ability to collaborate effectively within a diverse and dynamic team
- Strong understanding of commercial insurance market dynamics
- Self-starter with the ability to multitask and manage competing priorities
- Positive, supportive, and enthusiastic team contributor
- High degree of integrity, empathy, credibility, and professional work ethic
