- Collaborate with stakeholders, including internal teams and external vendors, to gather, analyze, and document business requirements in alignment with transformation objectives.
- Participate in workshops and meetings with vendors and Business SMEs to capture user stories and requirements and communicate progress effectively.
- Analyze existing processes, technology, and data flows to identify opportunities for improvements.
- Support the translation of business requirements into functional specifications, ensuring alignment with system integration goals.
- Contribute to the redesign of business processes to align with new system capabilities and best practices.
- Assist in testing new systems and processes, ensuring business requirements are met, and participate in defect management.
- Provide support and guidance to teams for smooth adoption of new systems and processes.
- Identify potential risks and issues related to technology, processes, and organizational changes, and propose solutions.
- Current enrollment in an undergraduate degree specializing in Accounting/Finance, Engineering, Computer Science, or Data Analytics
- Strong interest in pursuing a career in Capital Markets or FinTech
- An understanding of investment products including bonds, equities, derivatives, and alternative investments
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail
- Curiosity and eagerness to learn about business analysis strategies and tools
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment and collaborate with diverse stakeholders
- Proficiency in Excel & PowerPoint, and a willingness to learn more advanced tools
- Excellent communication and facilitation skills, capable of engaging colleagues at various levels
- Self-starter with a proactive approach and a commitment to delivering quality outcomes
- Openness to change and a continuous improvement mindset
- Experience with data engineering tools (e.g., SQL, PowerBI) is an asset
