- Working and communicating with Superintendents and Project Managers/Coordinators.
- Supervise and coordinate daily activities of underground crews, including labourers, operators, and subcontractors.
- Plan, assign, and prioritize work activities to meet production targets and schedules.
- Read and interpret drawings, specifications, and grade sheets.
- Direct installation of underground utilities including water, sanitary, storm, manholes, catch basins, services, and related structures.
- Coordinate equipment, materials, and trucking requirements with Superintendent and project team.
- Complete and submit daily time sheets, field logs, and production reports.
- Track quantities, materials used, and work progress.
- Communicate issues, delays, or scope changes to the Superintendent.
- Assist with short-term planning and look-ahead schedules.
- The individual will need to demonstrate experience in pipe installation.
- Exceptional ability to multitask in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
- Strong interpersonal, leadership and communication skills.
- Must Maintain a valid Class 5 Drivers License.
- Ability to work weekends and/or night shift.
- Willing to work overtime, as required.
- Must comply with the company's drug & alcohol program, including testing requirements.
