We are seeking a Full Stack Developer to join a growing engineering team that builds and scales systems supporting school payments and activity fund management for thousands of schools and millions of parents across North America. The team prioritizes reliability, performance, security, and thoughtful design to deliver software that users can trust.In this role, you will contribute to the development and enhancement of core products by building new features, improving existing functionality, and resolving performance or production issues. You’ll collaborate closely with Product, Design, and Engineering teams to deliver high-quality, scalable solutions in a fast-paced SaaS environment.The ideal candidate is a technically strong problem-solver who enjoys tackling complex challenges, learning continuously, and making a meaningful impact through well-architected systems.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign, build, and maintain scalable, secure, and performant software following modern development best practicesDevelop user-facing features using JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and modern front-end frameworksBuild and integrate backend services and RESTful APIs using C# and ASP.NETCollaborate with Product Managers, Designers, and Engineers to translate requirements into high-quality solutionsTroubleshoot, debug, and resolve production issues to ensure platform reliabilityWrite clean, testable, and maintainable code, supporting long-term system healthWork with relational databases using SQL to support data-driven functionalityParticipate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and contribute to iterative product deliveryStay current with emerging technologies and industry trends, applying them thoughtfully to improve products and processesQualifications3–5 years of professional experience in a full stack or backend-focused engineering roleStrong experience with C# and ASP.NET for backend developmentFrontend experience with JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and frameworks such as ReactExperience designing and consuming REST APIsWorking knowledge of SQL and relational databasesExperience in an Agile/Scrum development environmentFamiliarity with Azure cloud servicesExperience writing robust, testable, and maintainable codeUnderstanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)Familiarity with tools such as Jira, Confluence, Bitbucket, or similarStrong problem-solving skills and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environmentExperience with secure coding practices and performance optimization is a plusAI may be used to support certain administrative aspects of our recruitment process.
