- Coordinate with other disciplines such as the planning, procurement and operations team.
- Perform a quantitative evaluation of materials and manpower required for packages and changes deemed decisive and conduct quantity take-offs or verify the quantities provided by others.
- Prepare the summary of quantities of procurement packages according to the plans and specs and sorting them according to the standardized sections and functions of the trades involved.
- Identify project-specific prices related to key items including labor, equipment and materials.
- Grow and maintain strong relationships with trade partners, consultants and wider project team to achieve project goals and vision.
- Thoroughly review all received quotes from suppliers and subcontractors, ensuring their alignment with bid documents or their subcontract.
- Suggest and quantify alternatives to changes or bids to reduce construction costs variations.
- Support in the search for new contacts subcontractors, suppliers, and work providers.
- Coordinate with the wider project teams including, Project Managers, procurement team and design team.
- Coordinate and support the team with change orders, claims and its cost evaluation.
- A University Degree or College Diploma in Construction project estimation or a combination of education and industry experience.
- 5+ years' relevant experience in estimating in the ICI construction industry.
- Strong knowledge of estimation divisions required for ICI construction industry.
- Strong knowledge of design build, especially P3 and hospital project.
- Strong knowledge of trade tendering and prequalification process
- Strong experience working with estimation software.
- Project manager or site experience.
- Knowledge of construction contract by types in the building industry.
