Our client, a leader in the transportation services industry, is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Pricing Specialist to join their dynamic team. As a Pricing Specialist, you will be an integral part of the Pricing & Traffic department, supporting internal teams and external clients with accurate and timely pricing solutions. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong analytical skills, excellent communication, and a proactive approach to problem-solving, aligning successfully within a collaborative and fast-paced environment.Job Title: Pricing SpecialistLocation: Mississauga, ONPay Range: $22 - $23 per hour (based on experience)Shift: 8:30am - 5:00pmWhat's the Job?
  • Provide accurate pricing responses to internal and external customer requests, managing and maintaining the rating system effectively.
  • Perform specialty rate requests and RFP Customer support, ensuring clear communication with Sales, Operations, and Billing teams.
  • Validate data, conduct basic analysis, and work with spreadsheets to support pricing decisions.
  • Utilize company software such as TMW, Excel, and other tools to enter and manage rate data efficiently.
  • Assist in pulling historical rate data for analysis and support other related duties as assigned.
What's Needed?
  • College or University Degree or equivalent experience in the transportation services industry or a similar field.
  • Proficiency in PC applications, including Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word), TMW, Freshdesk, and BamKPI.
  • Strong multitasking abilities and excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team, making sound judgments within established guidelines.
  • Experience in LTL pricing and rating is highly desirable, along with a strong background in data analysis and customer service.
