Senior Program Manager (Secret-Cleared) – Security ProjectLocation: Ottawa, ON (Hybrid – 3 days onsite)
Duration: Contract
Hours: 37.5 hours/week + potential overtime
Pay Rate: $100-110/hour INCOverviewWe are seeking a Senior Program Manager to lead a large-scale security-focused initiative within a Federal Government environment. This role requires a highly experienced leader with a strong background in enterprise program delivery, stakeholder engagement, and security-focused projects.The successful candidate will work closely with senior stakeholders and external partners to ensure successful execution of complex, high-impact programs.Key Responsibilities
  • Lead end-to-end program delivery for large-scale enterprise security initiatives
  • Manage program scope, timelines, budget, risks, and dependencies
  • Engage with executive-level stakeholders and external partners
  • Drive alignment across cross-functional teams and ensure successful delivery outcomes
  • Oversee program governance, reporting, and performance tracking
  • Identify and mitigate risks, ensuring compliance with federal standards and requirements
  • Ensure effective communication across all levels of the organization
Must-Have Qualifications
  • 10+ years of experience as an IT Program Manager on large-scale enterprise projects
  • Active Secret Security Clearance
  • Canadian Citizenship (required for clearance eligibility)
  • Strong customer-facing experience, including presenting to executive stakeholders and working with external partners
Nice to Have
  • Previous Federal Government experience (e.g., SANA or similar environments)
  • Experience managing security-focused programs or projects
Compensation
  • $140/hour (INC)
  • 37.5 hours per week with potential for overtime
