- An entrepreneurial opportunity to support the management of the fund strategy, connecting with internal stakeholders and external clients and partners
- Build (and operate) sophisticated infrastructure financial models
- Support quantitative and qualitative due diligence on prospective private infrastructure investments
- Lead certain workstreams within a due diligence process
- Make substantial contributions to written materials, such as Investment Recommendations for the fund’s Investment and Governance Committee meetings, and recurring quarterly investor reporting
- Contribute to thematic sourcing initiatives on a global basis
- Perform various tasks related to product reporting, monitoring investments, market research, internal requests, and marketing efforts, working in a collaborative manner with colleagues across RBC GAM
- To contribute to sophisticated portfolio analytics or other adhoc analysis
- To support the development and management of the Private Market investment platform, which includes Real Estate, Mortgages, Infrastructure, and which may expand to include other strategies in the future
- A minimum of 5 years of finance experience
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in infrastructure investing (or consulting, financial advisory)
- Strong quantitative skills, communications skills and high intellectual curiosity
- A team-oriented and collaborative style that results in an ability to work effectively within a global organization
- An undergraduate degree in finance, business, engineering or science discipline.
- Experience (including rotational or internship) in private infrastructure investing
- A masters degree in finance, business or science
- Experience within an investment fund platform including exposure to fund-raising and client-facing engagements
- CFA or CIM designation
