This role is focused on the preparation, coordination, and management of construction documentation, as well as providing technical support throughout the construction phase.Working closely with Architects, Engineers, and Consultants, you will be responsible for translating design intent into accurate, coordinated, and buildable documents. You will play a key role in maintaining drawing quality, coordinating revisions, and supporting construction administration activities from tender through project close-out.You will join a collaborative and detail-oriented team that values technical excellence, accountability, and long-term client relationships.Your Key ResponsibilitiesPrepare detailed and coordinated construction documents in collaboration with Architects and ConsultantsDevelop architectural drawings with a strong focus on technical accuracy, constructability, and consistency across drawing setsUtilize Revit and BIM workflows to produce and maintain models and documentationCoordinate drawing revisions and track changes through multiple project phasesCollaborate with multidisciplinary teams to meet project schedules, budgets, and quality standardsApply building codes, accessibility requirements, and life-safety standards to construction documentsManage and respond to RFIs, clarifying design intent and resolving technical issues efficientlyReview shop drawings and submittals, coordinating responses with multiple disciplinesAssist with Construction Administration, including document review and on-site technical problem solvingConduct site reviews to verify construction progress, identify deficiencies, and ensure compliance with design documentationEnsure design intent is maintained through documentation and constructionSupport Project Architects and Project Managers with technical coordination and issue resolutionYour Capabilities and CredentialsStrong technical proficiency in construction documentation and detailingSolid understanding of building systems, materials, constructability, and industry standardsAbility to interpret architectural drawings, specifications, consultant documents, and sketchesHigh level of attention to detail and quality controlAbility to work collaboratively within multidisciplinary project teamsStrong written and verbal communication skillsProficiency in Revit, Bluebeam, Newforma, Microsoft Office Suite, and related design softwareEducation and ExperienceDiploma or Degree in Architectural Technology or related fieldCertification or registration as an Architectural Technologist (or eligibility) preferred7-10+ years of experience required with a minimum of 3-5 years of construction administration experience.Experience working on institutional or complex building projects is an assetLEED Green Associate or LEED AP preferredTypical office environment working with computers and remaining sedentary for long periods of time.   • Locations in Lower Mainland - BC, GTA & Ottawa Ontario-$81,500.00 - $118,200.00 Annually
