Job DescriptionWhat is the opportunity?As a Manager in STP Governance and Controls team, you will play a key role in strengthening RBC’s governance, risk, and compliance framework for Statutory Transfer Pricing (STP). This role is responsible for managing audit and regulatory requests, preparing audit documentation, maintain effective governance and internal control processes and supporting enterprise-wide STP projects. You will collaborate with business, finance, compliance, and risk stakeholders across the enterprise to ensure RBC meets internal and external requirements with accuracy and integrity.What will you do?Manage the end-to-end information gathering process for audit queries and regulatory requests by coordinating with business, finance, legal, compliance, and taxation groups.Prepare and maintain well-documented audit binders with supporting evidence, ensuring responses are complete, accurate, and referenced to source data.Strengthening the internal control environment by identifying risks, assessing control gaps, and recommending enhancements to improve effectiveness and efficiency.Maintain and enhance STP governance and controls framework, ensuring alignment with enterprise risk management standards.Support the execution of global STP projects by coordinating activities, monitoring progress, and ensuring adherence to governance and compliance standards.Lead and support process improvement initiatives to streamline workflows, enhance control effectiveness and improving reporting accuracy.Partner with auditors and regulators during reviews and ensure timely, professional responses.Maintain and enhance controls and governance around transfer pricing entries.What do you need to succeed?Must have:Professional designation such as (CPA, CA, CMA, or equivalent)3 years of audit, finance, or transfer pricing experience at an accounting firm, financial institution, or within a related industry.Strong collaboration and communication skills (written and verbal).Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPointAbility to manage multiple priorities independently in a fast-paced environment.Nice-to-have:Experience with statutory transfer pricing or related regulatory reporting.Knowledge of RBC financial reporting systems and technology tools such as Oracle and TableauExperience working for large, complex, and matrixed organizations.What’s in it for you?We thrive on the challenge to be our best, progressive thinking to keep growing, and working together to deliver trusted advice to help our clients thrive and communities prosper.
