Key Responsibilities:
- Financial Compliance- own the integrity of GAAP financial reporting
- Financial Reporting- own the reporting process and identify areas for improvement and automation
- Strategic Planning- work alongside key stakeholders to analyze financials and provide key insights
- FP&A- own the forecast, budgeting, and planning processes
- Controls- evaluate current controls and design processes that scale with the company's growth
- M&A- assist with the evaluation, due diligence, and integration of potential mergers and acquisitions
- CPA, or nearing completion CPA, with 3+ years of experience and a strong focus on financial reporting
- Experience working with new businesses or recently acquired businesses will be an asset
- Prior experience in leadership or management roles within finance team will be an asset
- High attention to detail with the ability to lead teams, manage deadlines, and drive process improvements
