We are searching for a Independent Contractor - Sales Planning and Analytics Manager to join our team located in Mississauga, ON. Responsibilities:Your Role:Reporting to the VP Sales and Marketing – Canada, The Sales Planning & Analytics Manager is responsible for overseeing and analyzing customer POS, MAPS, strategy development, communication & monitoring, supporting yearly AOP budget planning, co-analyzing AC Nielsen data with marketing and supporting sales inputs into the demand forecast..You will have the opportunity to Make Great Things Happen!Duties and Responsibilities
  • Position is accountable to:
  • Customer POS analysis
  • MAPS strategy ownership
  • AOP support with marketing
MAPS (Merchandising, Assortment, Pricing & Shelving) strategy development, communication and monitoring
  • Leads MAPS development and execution
  • Supports sales in the budgeting process
  • Ensure appropriate sales tools & resources such as product catalogue, display menu and MAPS guidelines are in place to deliver on goals
  • Support the execution of brand-specific initiatives for sales
  • Price management (in market competitive intel, account compliance and price increase implementation alongside account team)
Customer Brand Team Interaction
  • Support the sales input into the demand forecast
  • Co-lead the customer sell stores, and ensure alignment to strategies
  • Co-lead the annual business planning along with marketing and finance
  • Item (baseline and innovation) tracking and performance optimization
  • Innovation business case lead working with sales, marketing & finance
  • Manage and support display programs and forecasts with both customer teams and supply chain. Work with marketing in the development of new displays as required to meet customer requirements
  • Accountable for assisting in the tracking of trade spend
External Customer Team Support
  • Trade (promo) planning and optimization supports to account leads
  • Support customer requests and meetings and joint business planning sessions as required
  • Ongoing weekly/biweekly meetings with major key account teams
Customer POS
  • Lead the analysis of customer POS supporting sales team on recommendations
  • Integrate AC Nielsen 3 channel data to analyze competitive data to provide recommendations to sales team to help support delivering yearly AOP targets
  • Leverage springboard to support analysis of POS with sales team

Qualifications:We need you to have:
  • BA/BS degree in Marketing or related field
  • 5+ years of related professional and progressive Sales experience in the CPG industry.
  • Proficient in MS Office.
  • Proficient in AC Nielsen, retail link, Circana & IRI
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including presentation skills and the ability to communicate and influence at all levels within the organization.
  • Demonstrated interpersonal skills.
  • Self-directed with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple accountabilities and multiple internal customers.
  • Strong analytical skills as well as organizational skills.
  • Solid project management capabilities with the ability to organize and manage multiple projects simultaneously from origin through execution.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule during key business deadlines.
  • Must be team oriented with the ability to work on high collaboration and performance teams.
  • May be required to travel (0-25%)
