- Provide consultation on learning processes and conduct regular audits to ensure adherence to Quality Management System (QMS) requirements.
- Develop tracking and metrics to govern actions, projects, findings and audit schedules to ensure the effectiveness and quality of competency-based implementations.
- Manage change requests for competency management quality documentation and engage internal stakeholders to implement necessary changes.
- Design, implement, and maintain quality assurance processes for competency management systems and programs.
- Represent the learning team in discussions to resolve training-related quality issues and support implementations.
- In partnership with the OL central team members, develop and enforce standards, guidelines, and best practices for competency mapping, assessment, and validation.
- Validate training evidence recorded in the Learning Management System (LMS) adheres to the Quality Management System (QMS) standards and regulatory requirements.
- Analyze data to identify trends, gaps, and opportunities for improvement; prepare reports and recommendations for leadership.
- Provide training and support to internal stakeholders on quality standards and expectations.
- Stay current with regulatory requirements related to competency management and quality assurance.
- You have post-secondary education in Education, Aerospace Engineering, Quality Assurance, or related field.
- You have a minimum of five (5) years of experience in organizational learning, training, or quality assurance in a regulated manufacturing environment.
- You have strong analytical and problem-solving skills and business acumen to assess impact, risk and develop effective solutions.
- You have excellent English and French verbal and written communication skills to interact with stakeholders and team members (Spanish is an asset).
- You have a drive for continuous improvement.
- You have knowledge of aircraft build processes and familiarity with regulatory frameworks such as Transport Canada and the Canadian Aviation Regulations (CAR) FAA requirements is an asset
- You have experience with quality inspection or audit processes is a strong asset.
