Are you a construction Project Manager who thrives in entrepreneurial environments where your impact is visible, valued, and rewarded?Our client is a respected and growing Eastern Ontario General Contractor with an established reputation for delivering institutional, commercial, and multi-residential projects throughout the region. With a healthy pipeline of work ranging from $1M-$60M, they are seeking an experienced Project Manager to join their team and play a key role in delivering projects while helping shape the continued growth of the business.In this role, you will take ownership of projects from preconstruction through closeout; leading budgets, schedules, procurement, subcontractor coordination, client relationships, and field support while working closely with senior leadership and site teams.This is an excellent opportunity for a driven, hands-on PM who wants more than just project responsibility, you want to contribute to the broader success and evolution of the company.Duties include but are not limited to:
  • Lead full-cycle project management for ICI construction projects across Eastern Ontario
  • Prepare and manage project budgets, schedules, and execution plans
  • Identify and mitigate project risks throughout the lifecycle
  • Coordinate suppliers, subcontractors, consultants, and internal stakeholders
  • Review drawings, specifications, shop drawings, and contract documents
  • Support site teams with technical guidance and problem-solving
  • Monitor project quality, safety, and compliance with OHSA / building code requirements
  • Oversee change management, purchasing, and contract administration
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships throughout project delivery
  • Contribute to internal process improvements and operational best practices
About YouThe successful candidate will have the follow:
  • 5+ years of Project Management experience with an ICI General Contractor
  • Proven ability to deliver commercial, institutional, or multi-residential construction projects
  • Strong understanding of construction drawings, specifications, and project financials
  • Demonstrated knowledge of OHSA regulations and construction safety standards
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills
  • Proactive, solutions-oriented mindset with strong organizational abilities
  • Valid driver's license and willingness to travel to project sites across Eastern Ontario
Nice to Have
  • Carpenter's License / Trade Background
  • WHMIS 2015, Working at Heights, Supervisor Health & Safety Awareness
