Our client is seeking an experienced and dynamic Senior Project Manager â Construction to lead and oversee flooring projects within large commercial environments. This role is responsible for full-cycle project delivery, ensuring projects are executed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. You will collaborate closely with architects, designers, builders, and internal teams to drive successful outcomes across multiple sites.Responsibilities:
- Lead end-to-end project planning, execution, and delivery across multiple commercial flooring projects
- Develop comprehensive project plans, assign tasks, and manage project teams effectively
- Allocate and manage workforce across multiple job sites, ensuring schedules and site requirements are met
- Oversee procurement and resource allocation for multiple ongoing projects
- Ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget while maintaining high-quality standards
- Accurately estimate labor, materials, and overhead costs
- Coordinate with architects, designers, and builders to ensure seamless project integration
- Oversee installations across various flooring types, including:
- Soft flooring (carpet tiles, broadloom, pattern-match carpets, resilient sheet goods)
- Hard surfaces (ceramic, porcelain, thin porcelain tiles)
- Specialty flooring (rubber flooring, raised access floors, hygienic wall systems, clean rooms, laboratory flooring)
- Identify risks proactively and implement solutions to avoid project delays or cost overruns
- Build and maintain strong client relationships to ensure satisfaction and repeat business
- Proven experience managing large-scale commercial flooring or construction projects
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage teams across multiple sites
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Strong financial acumen with experience managing project budgets
- Deep understanding of project planning, scheduling, and process optimization
- Ability to work independently while leading cross-functional teams
- Experience managing high-profile commercial or multi-site projects
- Background in ICI and multi-family construction
- Strong knowledge of commercial flooring products and installation best practices
- Established network within the commercial flooring industry
