TSXV is Canada’s premier junior listings market, providing companies at the early stages of growth with the opportunity to raise capital and providing investors with the opportunity to invest in and trade those issuers’ securitiesStep into a pivotal role as a Senior Listings Manager with the TSX Venture Exchange (TSXV), a key part of TMX Group's Capital Formation division. Based in our Toronto office, you'll take charge of the independent review and analysis of diverse listing applications and issuer transactions.This role isn't just about analysis; it's about relationships. You'll serve as a primary point of contact for clients, acting as a vital representative for the TSXV and helping shape the future of countless companies.Reports to: Managing Director, TSXV ListingsJob Location: This role is hybrid (2 - 3 days/week in the office) - based in Toronto, ONKey Accountabilities:Review and approve applications and proposals from listed issuers, presenting decisions to company management and their advisors (including auditors and legal counsel)Draft detailed memos summarizing applications, key issues, waiver requests, and providing analysis and recommendationsReviewing legal and title opinions, verifying their adherence to securities laws while also ensuring they meet all professional standardsPrepare and send formal correspondence to listed issuers and official bulletins to market participantsEfficiently manage and execute the end-to-end processing of issuer filings to meet all regulatory deadlinesEnsure client compliance with all TSXV listing rules by providing a solutions-oriented and client-focused approachLiaise with the Exchange's Compliance and Disclosure staffProvide guidance to the public, listed companies, and their advisorsCarry out special assignments, public speaking engagements, and participate in Exchange workshops and the TMX Learning AcademyActively participate in relationship management activities with lawyers, investment bankers, and other capital market stakeholdersEnsure accurate billing of fees and the timely collection of fees on assigned submissionsMust Have(s):A post-graduate degree in business or a professional designation (CPA, LLB, CFA, MBA). Preference will be given to candidates with an LLB degree3–5 years of relevant work experience, preferably in the securities industryExcellent analytical and communication skillsThrives in a fast-paced environment, taking full ownership of tasks from start to finish to ensure timely deliveryProficiency in Microsoft Office, Salesforce, and Google Suite ProductsNice to Have(s):Familiarity with the TSX Venture Exchange's Listed Issuer Corporate Finance Manual, the Securities Act, and the Business Corporations ActCompletion of the Canadian Securities Course and other industry-related coursesA strong understanding of the public venture capital marketplace and junior companiesIn the market for…Excitement - Explore emerging technology and innovation, as well as ventures and digital finance that shape the future of global markets!
