- Safely operate scissor lifts and aerial work platforms in accordance with regulations and site procedures
- Conduct pre-operation inspections and complete safety checklists
- Position lifts accurately to allow safe access to elevated work areas
- Perform assigned tasks such as installation, maintenance, repairs, or inspections at height
- Maintain awareness of surroundings, including overhead hazards and personnel below
- Follow fall protection, lockout/tagout, and site-specific safety requirements
- Report equipment defects, incidents, or unsafe conditions immediately
- Maintain cleanliness and order at the work area
- Assist with general site or facility duties as required
- Valid scissor lift or aerial work platform certification (as required by local regulations)
- Previous experience operating scissor lifts in construction or industrial settings preferred
- Knowledge of workplace safety standards and fall-protection procedures
- Ability to read and follow safety instructions, job plans, and site rules
- Physically capable of working at heights and standing for extended periods
- Willingness to work various shifts, including overtime or weekends if required
- Experience with multiple aerial lift types (scissor lifts, boom lifts, man lifts)
- Familiarity with construction or industrial job sites
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
