Applicants who thrive in a positive environment where service excellence is top priority are encouraged to apply.JOB SUMMARYAs a Summer Lift Operator of our Peak Scenic Chari and Mountain Bike Chairlift, you are responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient operation of the Peak Chairlift and Screaming Eagle Chairlift including; start up and shut down procedures, greeting guests, assisting in loading and unloading passengers and mountain bikes and providing physical assistance when required. With direct supervision from the Lift Operations Supervisor and Mountain Operations Duty Manager, the Summer Lift Operator is expected to deliver a safe and exceptional experience for all mountain guests.ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

Ensuring safe and efficient operational procedures of lifts including start up and shut down procedures in accordance with Z98 Code and the Lift Operators manual
Greeting guests in a friendly and welcoming manner
Scanning tickets, Bike Park access control
Ensuring highest level of safety with respect to the load/unload area, ensuring that it is uncluttered and litter-free
Assisting in the loading and unloading of passengers and Mountain Bikes, providing physical assistance to guests when required
Establishing and maintaining all operational aspects of the lift station including; line control, tools and signs
Maintaining high housekeeping standards of load/unload areas as well as lift huts, ensuring a clean work environment including cleaning/disinfecting of chairlift chairs and other lift operational facilities (proper PPE will be provided)
Maintaining a high quality, friendly and cooperative relationship with mountain staff
Performing all other duties as assigned

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIESThis position reports directly to the Supervisors, Lift Operations and Duty Managers and does not require any direct supervisory responsibilities.REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS AND ABILITIES

Passionate about Mountain Biking and the outdoors
Possess excellent interpersonal skills
Ability to provide excellent guest service
Ability to lift up to 40 lbs
Ability to work flexible schedule in all weather conditions
On the job training provided

WORKING CONDITIONSHours of Operation are weather dependant. Summer Lift Operators perform most of their duties outdoors and may work in all different kinds of weather conditions. Hours of operation are weather dependent. Due to the nature of the business, this position requires flexibility in terms of your work schedule. A variety of work schedules may include rotation of shifts, day/evening shifts, weekends and statutory holidays. Shifts require standing for long periods of time and physical assistance of guests loading and unloading the chairlift.COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS$19.12 to $22.37/hourAll positions are eligible for the following benefits and perks:
