
Project Manager - Deep Utilities

- Manage and oversee the execution of deep utility infrastructure projects, including water, sewer, and electrical systems, ranging from $3 million to $15 million in value
- Coordinate and supervise project teams, subcontractors, and other key stakeholders to ensure efficient project delivery
- Review and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and project specifications to ensure accurate execution of work
- Develop and maintain project schedules and budgets, ensuring timely completion and staying within financial constraints
- Ensure all projects comply with safety standards, regulations, and company quality protocols
- Regularly communicate with clients to provide updates and manage expectations; foster strong relationships to ensure repeat business
- Handle conflict resolution on-site and within the project team, ensuring a positive and productive work environment
- Monitor project performance and make necessary adjustments to keep projects on track
- Maintain up-to-date documentation for all projects, including permits, change orders, and safety reports
- Supervise daily operations, including handling logistics, coordinating with vendors, and addressing any project challenges
- Ensure effective communication with senior management and provide timely progress reports
- Primarily office-based in Whitehorse with occasional travel (up to 4 hours) to job sites; company-provided accommodations available
- At least 5 years of experience in project management for deep utilities, construction, or civil infrastructure
- A technical degree (e.g., Construction Management, Civil Technology) or equivalent experienceno need for a civil engineering degree
- Strong understanding of blueprints and technical drawings with the ability to effectively communicate them to teams and clients
- Experience managing projects in the $3 million to $15 million range, with a proven ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously
- Positive, energetic attitude with a focus on providing excellent client service and maintaining strong, professional relationships
- Solid conflict resolution skills and the ability to manage difficult situations in a calm and professional manner
- A willingness to travel within a 4-hour radius of Whitehorse; overnight stays in hotels provided
- Valid drivers license; must pass drug and alcohol tests
