- Implement and coordinate volunteer programs and activities in response to the priority health issues identified by Community of Care – Coastal.
- Recruit and train volunteers and coordinate their deployment.
- Acts as a resource for staff who interact with volunteers and ensures compliance with organizational policies relevant to volunteers.
- Grade 12.
- Volunteer Manager Courses/Program/Diploma.
- Two years experience working with volunteer based programs or an equivalent combination of training, education and experience.
- Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
- Ability to deal with others effectively.
- Physical ability to carry out the duties of the position.
- Ability to supervise.
- Ability to organize work.
- Ability to operate related equipment.
