
Senior Analyst - Data and BI

- Analyze project and portfolio data to develop metrics, benchmarks, and actionable insights.
- Support the evolution of PPM methodologies and tools.
- Ensure data quality and governance compliance across initiatives.
- Maintain and enhance CoE documentation and knowledge base.
- Provide guidance and training to project/program managers to improve PPM maturity.
- Build end-to-end reporting solutions using Power BI, Excel (Power Query, Macros), and JIRA.
- Develop and maintain dashboards, KPIs, and performance reports integrated with SharePoint, databases, and other platforms.
- Use scripting and SQL to automate and optimize reporting workflows.
- Translate business requirements into scalable analytical solutions.
- Position the CoE as a trusted partner by striving for excellence and communicating with conviction.
- Lead small initiatives in partnership with other teams, as needed.
- Actively support the rollout of new processes, standards, best practices, solutions and techniques.
- Actively participate in the Project Management Community of Practice.
- Champion collaboration.
- Carry out all other related tasks.
- 3-4 years of relevant work experience (e.g. project management, PMO, business analysis).
- Expert knowledge of Power BI (DAX) and Power Query (M-Code) for building end to end solution along with other tools (JIRA, easyBI, PowerApps, Database, SharePoint etc.).
- Design and develop automated workflow processes using Power Automate is an asset
- Expert-level hands on experience of Excel required including power query, macro programming.
- Hands on experience on database query (SQL) and any scripting language.
- Experience supporting a PPM system (e.g., JIRA).
- Experience working within an IT/Technology department or related environment is strongly preferred.
- PMP or similar certifications are good to have.
- Highly motivated with demonstrable leadership attributes.
- Outstanding analytical and critical thinking skills.
- Extremely diligent and attention to details.
- Effective communicator at all levels with excellent English writing skills.
- Ability to cope under pressure and balance multiple priorities.
- Strong understanding of project management and IT governance (e.g., ITIL, PMBO, Scrum).
- Working towards Certification or is certified in one skill area (e.g., Six Sigma, SAFe, etc.).
- Good understanding of financial planning and budgeting desired.
