
Data Science Analyst

- Extract, analyze, and interpret complex information from diverse, large-scale enterprise datasets to uncover business insights, identify opportunities, and solve critical business problems, including retail demand forecasting and optimization.
- Design, develop, and implement end-to-end automated data pipelines and analytical workflows using Python to enhance efficiency, scalability, and reproducibility of data products and solutions.
- Translate complex business questions into clear analytical approaches and actionable insights. Collaborate cross-functionally with Product, Sales, Marketing, and Operations teams to support the development and operationalization of data products and empower business partners with self-service analytical capabilities.
- Develop, validate, and deploy statistical, descriptive, and predictive models to support various loyalty program initiatives, marketing campaign effectiveness, recommendation engines, and A/B testing.
- Design and build interactive and static data visualizations to effectively communicate complex insights to diverse stakeholders, enabling data-driven strategic business decisions.
- Ensure strict adherence to data security, confidentiality, and compliance guidelines, upholding the integrity and reliability of all data assets.
- University Degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Engineering, Business, or a related quantitative field.
- 2+ years of hands-on experience in a data science or advanced analytics role, with a proven track record of applying analytical techniques to real-world business challenges.
- Strong programming skills in Python and SQL with a demonstrated ability to write modular, scalable, and clean code for data manipulation, analysis, and modeling.
- Experience with Git version control for collaborative development.
- In-depth knowledge and practical application of predictive modeling and machine learning techniques, including experience with retail demand forecasting and experimentation (A/B testing).
- Experience with cloud environments such as GCP, Azure, and Databricks is preferred.
- Retail analytics experience working with large-size enterprise datasets.
- Exceptional analytical and conceptual thinking skills, with the ability to break down complex problems, derive meaningful interpretations from data, and provide data-driven recommendations.
- Proactive, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple tasks and priorities in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively liaise with technical and non-technical stakeholders across all levels of the enterprise.
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Knowledge of Generative AI (GenAI) concepts and familiarity with agentic frameworks (e.g., LangGraph) is a significant asset.
