This role provides direct supervision to production employees, promotes continuous improvement, and ensures compliance with company policies, safety standards, and regulatory requirements.What you will do:Production & OperationsSupervise daily manufacturing activities to achieve production schedules, output targets, and efficiency goalsMonitor workflow, staffing levels, and equipment utilization to optimize productivityCoordinate activities across shifts to ensure smooth transitions and consistent performanceSafety & CompliancePromote and enforce a strong safety culture; ensure compliance with all health, safety, and environmental regulationsConduct safety talks, inspections, and incident investigations as requiredEnsure proper training and adherence to standard operating procedures (SOPs)QualityEnsure products meet quality standards and customer requirementsAddress quality issues promptly and implement corrective and preventive actionsSupport audits and continuous improvement initiatives related to quality systemsPeople LeadershipLead, coach, and develop production employees to achieve high performance and engagementConduct performance reviews, attendance management, and disciplinary actions as neededSupport onboarding and training of new employeesContinuous ImprovementDrive continuous improvement using Lean, Six Sigma, or other improvement methodologiesIdentify opportunities to reduce waste, improve processes, and lower operating costsCommunication & ReportingCommunicate production targets, priorities, and expectations clearly to the teamMaintain accurate production, labor, and downtime recordsCollaborate with Maintenance, Quality, Engineering, and Supply Chain teamsWhat you need :Post-secondary education in Manufacturing, Engineering, or a related field3–5 years of experience in a manufacturing or industrial environmentPrior experience supervising or leading production teamsStrong knowledge of safety practices and manufacturing processesAbility to read and interpret production documents, procedures, and schedulesPreferred Skills/Experience:Strong leadership and people management skillsExcellent communication and problem-solving abilitiesAbility to make sound decisions in a fast-paced environmentStrong organizational and time management skillsProficient in Microsoft Office and manufacturing systemsSAP S4 experience an assetWhat we offerCompetitive compensation and comprehensive health benefitsProgressive vacation plan and paid holidaysRetirement savings plans with company matchEducational assistance and career development supportOpportunities to work on globally impactful technologiesWhat happens nextApply online and our Talent Acquisition team will review your application.
