- Project and Client leadership
- Establish yourself as a project trusted advisor by fully understanding the client’s business and supporting processes
- Collaborate with the client project team to establish roles and responsibilities, risk areas, deliverables and deadlines
- Collaborate and guide the client business area to ensure scope containment, timelines , and targets, adjusting where necessary
- Fulfill project management and coordination role, tracking project budgets, deliverables and scope
- Organize and coordinate stakeholder engagement
- Facilitate and run effective meetings
- Participate in challenging and often unique engagements with clients, bringing your experience with senior business and technology leaders to these discussions
- Leverage your experience, strong listening skills and critical thinking capabilities to formulate impactful client recommendations
- Engage business stakeholders and write formal documentation such as business user stories, requirements definition specifications, functional design documents, project glossaries, non-functional requirements specifications and communication plans
- Business Analysis
- Lead workshops, interviews, and Agile Scrum events to help craft requirements and user stories
- Business process modelling of the current and desired future state
- Requirement analysis, defining all types of requirements to define the business need
- Requirements management (within Azure DevOps) and prioritization of project backlog
- Preparing correspondence, technical reports, and dashboards,
- Conducting detailed research, interpretation, and analysis of the data gathered,
- Analyze Risk and Benefits Realization frameworks, and perform cost-benefit analysis, and
- Supporting the design, development, formatting, and proofreading of the resultant reports, test strategies, test suites & cases, document deliverables, and presentations
- Agile Scrum Master
- Facilitate daily scrums as per Agile Scrum methods
- Perpetuate the Agile Mindset to fail fast, fail inexpensively, learn, and pivot
- Lead and present Sprint retrospectives and Sprint demos
- Support and coach the client product owner as necessary
- Facilitate the removal of roadblocks for the DevTeam
- Support Quality Assurance Activities
- Help create and validate test strategy and test suites, ensuring alignment and traceability to all project user stories and project backlog items
- Assisting clients by performing walk-through sessions, to validate defects and fixes
- Must have amazing communication and people skills, with the ability to communicate to end-clients and technical contacts (verbal, written, presentation)
- Background in technology consulting, with strong preference in case management, customer relationship management (CRM), and grants management (preferably on Microsoft Dynamics 365 platform)
- Possess a bachelor’s degree, ideally in business, computer science, communications or other related field
- Must have or be able to obtain Reliability Security Clearance, which requires 5 years residency in Canada.
- Demonstratable experience in project management, business analysis, systems analysis, assessments, records management, system implementation or managed services.
- Applicable designation/certifications (e.g. PMP, CBAP, ITIL, TOGAF, Prosci) are considered an asset
- Demonstrated project management and organizational skills
- Experience in Agile SCRUM software development and DevOps
- Software testing/quality assurance
- Bilingual (French) is an asset
