We currently have an opportunity for a Maintenance Supervisor at our Barrhead, AB location. This position is responsible for supervising maintenance and building services while focusing on safety, quality and operational efficiency. The Maintenance Supervisor will support policies, goals and objectives of Richardson International Limited and the Richardson Milling business unit specifically.Responsibilities:Responsible for ensuring all site assets are maintained in good working condition and to oversee all grounds maintenanceMonitor maintenance plans and programs to increase uptime and profitability while providing the necessary support for ongoing operations. May include mechanical and electrical services, boilers, steam production and automationDiscuss work requirements and determine priorities in conjunction with Plant ManagerAssist with the development and implementation plans to identify and select capital projects of financial or risk benefit to the facilityDocument maintenance processes and provide reports as requiredSupervise maintenance employees and participate in activities surrounding recruitment, performance management, scheduling, employee coaching and mentoring, etc.Manage equipment conditions and work practices to ensure that safety standards are maintained in accordance with requirements and government regulationsOther duties as assignedQualifications:2-3 years’ experience as a Maintenance Mechanic and/or Millwright/Electrician in a production or manufacturing environmentPrevious leadership or lead experience an assetOther related or combinations of education and experience will be consideredExperience in industrial maintenance, boilers, steam production and HVAC systemsTrade journeyman certificate or an engineering degree or certificate an assetDemonstrated leadership ability, planning and organizational skillsDemonstrated project management skillsGood analytical, mechanical and problem solving skillsRichardson International provides an excellent compensation package consisting of competitive salary, pension, a flexible benefits plan and training and career development opportunities.Interested candidates should click the Apply icon to apply online by September 21, 2025.Richardson International values diversity in the workplace.
