We’re looking for an enthusiastic individual in the position of Finishing Worker to join our Finishing Department team within our Barrhead Plant at 6203 46 Street. What You'll Do
  • Work on various positions within finishing lines, slabbing, feeding, gathering, auditing, cartoning, while constantly monitoring product quality
  • Ensure that necessary supplies (boxes, cartons, etc.) are prepared and ready for use when needed
  • Communicate any product or equipment related problems to Manufacturing Operator, Lead Hand, or Supervisor
  • Ensure work area is clean and organized throughout the shift
  • Adhere to all established policies and procedures with respect to Health & Safety, Security, and Operations

  • Open to new ideas and concepts with an overall positive attitude
  • Punctual and willing to work shift work and overtime on short notice
  • Ability to effectively adapt and re-prioritize work
  • Ability to stand for long periods of time and lift up to 35 lbs (process line)
·What You'll Bring
  • Grade 12 Diploma or GED equivalent
  • Familiarity working in manufacturing, quality control or production would be an asset
  • Basic computer skills
  • Ability to communicate effectively in writing and verbally with both co-workers and supervisor
