- Oversee daily construction site operations, ensuring projects are delivered on schedule, within budget, and according to defined scope.
- Lead and coordinate the work of subcontractors, trades, and on-site teams to maintain smooth workflow and productivity.
- Serve as the main point of contact on-site, fostering strong communication with clients, architects, engineers, and other stakeholders.
- Develop, maintain, and adjust project schedules to align with key milestones, proactively resolving delays or challenges.
- Track project performance and provide timely progress reports to senior leadership and relevant stakeholders.
- Work in close partnership with Project Managers and cross-functional teams to drive project success and alignment.
- Conduct routine site visits to verify adherence to safety protocols, quality standards, and contractual specifications.
- Minimum of 5 years' experience as a Site Superintendent with a recognized General Contractor.
- Proven track record in managing full-cycle construction projects, including interior renovations in the retail and commercial sectors, as well as new builds, with budgets of up to $15 million.
- Post-secondary education in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
- Strong ability to read, interpret, and work from architectural and engineering drawings.
- Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively lead and motivate cross-functional teams.
- Highly organized, with excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive, solution-oriented approach.
- In-depth knowledge of construction safety standards and regulations, with a strong commitment to site safety.
- Must hold a valid G Class driver's license and have access to a reliable vehicle.
