This is a rare and exciting opportunity to lead from the ground up while working under the Operations Manager at the head office for full support and guidance.Key ResponsibilitiesStart-Up & SetupPartner with the Operations Manager at the head office to assist with licensing, setup, and regional complianceHelp coordinate office logistics, forms, and service readiness in Dartmouth and surrounding areasBusiness DevelopmentAssist in client outreach and contract development for security services (construction, retail, events, static/mobile, video surveillance,etc)Build lasting relationships with businesses and stakeholders in the regionAttend relevant community or industry networking eventsOperations Management (Post-Launch)Recruit, onboard, and manage licensed security personnel as operations beginAssist in writing or adapting standard operating procedures (SOPs) and post ordersOversee basic site scheduling and reporting once clients and staff are activeEnsure regional operations align with company standards and provincial complianceLeadership & CoordinationServe as the local lead for Nova Scotia while maintaining regular contact with head office operationsSupport a culture of professionalism, accountability, and high-quality service deliveryProvide weekly updates to the Operations Manager regarding goals, site performance, and team growthQualificationsDiploma in Law & Security, Criminology, Police Studies, or related field3+ years of experience in private security, including supervisory or management rolesStrong understanding of Nova Scotia security legislation and licensing requirementsAbility to work independently while remaining accountable to head office leadershipExcellent communication skills and ability to write/revise proceduresValid driver’s license and access to a vehicle (some regional travel required)Bilingual in English and French is requiredWhat We OfferTravel reimbursement for business-related travelSupportive, growth-focused company culture with direct access to leadershipFuture opportunities for advancement as we expand in the regionOngoing professional development and leadership coachingDiscounts at select retailers and gyms (where applicable)Social events and Casual Fridays (once operations are active)Why Join Us?This isn’t just another job — it’s a rare opportunity to lead a new regional office with the full backing of a nationally recognized security firm.
