
Production-Melting Cell 1

- Sets up room for melting and starts up equipment at the beginning of the shift if necessary.
- Validates which product to melt (Cocoa Liquor, Butter, Coconut Butter, or rework) and ensures it goes to the correct tank.
- Observes process to assure continuous production flow and coordinates tank scales.
- Enters ingredients used into SAP.
- Maintains housekeeping in the work area and fills the MSS form.
- Communicates production information to the incoming Shift Supervisor and crew members.
- Works safely at all times, following procedures, wearing PPE, and using proper safety equipment.
- Performs daily equipment quality and safety inspections and completes required checklists.
- Learns and assists with shipping/receiving liquid loads, drums, and totes as needed.
- Required to learn and cover mixing positions and assist in other areas as needed.
- Follows Barry Callebaut GMPs and HACCP programs.
- Ensures compliance with all food and employee safety policies and procedures.
- High school diploma.
- Experience in a food manufacturing environment an asset.
- Hoist operator training.
- Lift Truck Certification.
- Must be able to freely move around entire facility.
- Must be able to lift 55 lbs.
- Ability to stand on concrete floor for long periods of time.
- Bend, squat, stretch, reach; frequently.
- Ability to climb stairs, often.
- Comfortable working at heights.
- Must be able to work in a variety of weather conditions and temperatures in the facility.
