Reporting to the Senior Manager, IT Operations and Service Delivery, the IT Specialist/Coordinator will be responsible for supporting and enhancing CAMH's IT infrastructure, with a focus on Microsoft Intune, Autopilot, SharePoint, OneDrive, M365, Azure/GCP Cloud Technologies and virtualization technologies like Citrix, VMWare, and Hyper-V.Key Responsibilities Include but not limited to:
  • Project Coordination: Oversee and coordinate IT projects/tasks, ensuring they are completed on time. This includes planning, scheduling, and managing the implementation.
  • Technical Support: Provide technical support and troubleshooting for hardware, software, and network issues related to Microsoft Intune, AutoPilot, SharePoint, OneDrive, M365, Azure/GCP Cloud technologies and virtualization technologies like Citrix, VMWare, and Hyper-V. Ensure that IT systems are running smoothly and efficiently.
  • Vendor Relationship: Coordinate relationships with IT vendors and service providers. This includes negotiating contracts, ensuring service level agreements (SLAs) are met, and coordinating with vendors for maintenance and support.
  • Documentation: Maintain detailed documentation of IT systems, processes, and procedures. This includes creating user guides, technical manuals, and system documentation.
  • Training / Knowledge Transfer: Coordinate training sessions for other IT staff within IMG on new technologies and systems. Ensure that IT staff are up-to-date with the latest IT tools and practices.
  • Security Management: Implement and ensure IT security policies and procedures are followed. Ensure that data is protected and that the organization complies with relevant regulations and standards.
  • Asset Management: Track and manage IT assets, including hardware and software inventory. Ensure that assets are properly maintained and replaced as needed.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with other departments to understand their IT needs and provide solutions that support their goals. Act as a liaison between IT and other business units.
  • A university degree in a computer-related field combined with relevant work experience.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Intune, Autopilot, SharePoint, OneDrive, M365, Azure/GCP Cloud technologies, and virtualization technologies like Citrix, VMWare, and Hyper-V.
  • Experience with Microsoft Teams Administration, SharePoint and Exchange Online Administration, and M365 Security & Compliance Center.
  • Knowledge of Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI, and PowerShell
  • Familiarity with distribution lists, security groups, and M365 Groups
  • Experience maintaining a thorough understanding of existing and emerging Microsoft 365 core technologies.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work well in a fast-paced, dynamic team environment with clients and staff from diverse backgrounds.
  • Bilingualism (French/English) and/or proficiency in another language is considered an asset.
  • Certification in one or more of these areas of technologies is considered an asset.
  • Working knowledge of Cisco Switching/Routing, Telephony and Wireless technologies would be considered an asset.
