Our Enterprise Imaging suite enables care teams to access, analyze, and securely share diagnostic images and data, enhancing workflow efficiency and improving patient outcomes worldwide.Product Manager - Enterprise Imaging (Imaging Backend & Connectivity Services) Role: As a Product Manager/Product Owner for Imaging Backend & Connectivity Services (IB & CS), you will own the strategy, delivery, and certification for our Enterprise Cloud Connect “ECC”, XDS, eMPI, and DICOM C-FIND products. You'll leverage your expertise in DICOM, IHE, FHIR, Kubernetes, public cloud, microservices, and machine learning to drive a scalable, standards-based connectivity platform in a SAFe Agile environment, positioning AGFA as the interoperability leader in Enterprise Imaging.Location: North America (Waterloo or Remote)Working Hours: AST or ESTTravel: Up to 25%What You'll Do:1- Define & Drive Product Strategy
  • Craft and prioritize Initiatives & Epics for new IB&CS features.
  • Establish and track KPIs to measure adoption, performance, and market growth.
  • Gather and translate direct customer feedback into actionable user stories.
  • Provide regular roll-up updates to the leadership team.
2- Lead Standards & Integration
  • Design, configure, and customize APIs (DICOM, HL7, FHIR, IHE, XDS, ECC, and eMPI).
  • Interfaces best practices and workflows with PACS, RIS, EMRs, public-health agencies, devices, and patient portals.
  • Facilitate detailed IB&CS workflow/dataflow workshops with clients, vendors, and SMEs.
3- Own Agile Delivery
  • Serve as Product Owner in SCRUM/SAFe: drive PI planning, sprint reviews, and feature demos.
  • Collaborate with Development, QA, UX, and DevOps to ensure on-time, high-quality releases.
  • Continuously integrate stakeholder and customer feedback.
4- Champion Certification & Community
  • Represent AGFA at industry working groups, conferences, and Connectathons.
  • Develop RFP responses, white papers, and thought-leadership collateral.
What You Bring:
  • Education: Bachelor's in computer science, Engineering, Health Informatics, or related.
  • Experience: 5+ years in Healthcare IT product management, R&D, or interoperability engineering.
  • Standards Expertise: Deep knowledge of DICOM, IHE, HL7, XDS, FHIR, eMPI, and related terminology.
  • Technical Acumen: Hands-on with Kubernetes, public cloud platforms, microservices architectures, and machine learning applications.
  • Integration Know-How: Proven track record integrating PACS, RIS, EMR, and other clinical systems.
  • Product Leadership: Demonstrated success managing the full product lifecycle from concept through launch.
  • Agile & SAFe: Comfortable as Product Owner in a scaled Agile environment.
  • Demonstrable record of managing all aspects of a successful product throughout its lifecycle.
  • Communication: Exceptional written and verbal skills; able to translate technical topics for all audiences.
  • Mindset: Strategic problem-solver, self-starter, and “roll-up-your-sleeves” collaborator passionate about improving healthcare efficiency.
