What you will doJoin our dynamic Technology Risk Services team at KPMG Montreal, where we help our clients navigate and effectively manage technology risks.As a consultant, you will have the opportunity to:
  • Interact and collaborate with clients and internal teams to deliver risk management solutions.
  • Actively participate in risk management and IT audit projects.
  • Review and enhance IT controls for change management, operations, and access.
  • Analyze client technology environments, present findings, and suggest improvements.
  • Contribute to the development of our risk advisory services by participating in various administrative and consulting tasks.
  • Design and implement IT systems and their governance processes to enhance controls, information security, compliance, and performance.
  • Develop and present risk analyses and threat scenarios.
What you bring to the roleWe are seeking candidates passionate about risk management and compliance, with the following qualifications:
  • A strong academic record at the bachelor or master’s level, preferably in the following fields: Business Technology Management, Management Information Systems, Accounting (with or without a CPA track), or related fields.
  • A strong record of extracurricular activities (case competitions, student associations, collective initiatives, etc.).
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in French and English; experience in drafting compelling presentations and reports.
  • Ability to work effectively in teams and build relationships.
  • Proven ability to show initiative and judgment as well as analyze and solve problems.
  • A demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks with competing priorities.
  • Strong relationship-building skills with clients, colleagues, and community members.
  • A willingness to learn continuously, acquire new skills, take on responsibilities, and engage in research to expand your knowledge.
  • Relevant professional experience where you have gained insight into our key business sectors (an asset).
This role requires verbal and written communication skills, in both French and English. English is required because there will be daily communications with stake holders that only speak English, within and outside of Quebec which requires excellent skills in both written and spoken form.
