- Prepare consolidated monthly and quarterly financial statements for multiple entities, ensuring accuracy and compliance with applicable accounting standards.
- Conduct detailed variance analysis to identify trends, risks, and opportunities, providing actionable recommendations to leadership.
- Support the budgeting and forecasting process, including preparation of financial models and performance dashboards.
- Ensure key balance sheet accounts are reconciled and properly documented.
- Assist in maintaining strong internal controls and developing process improvements within the finance function.
- Collaborate with other departments to provide financial guidance and ensure accurate cost tracking.
- Prepare and submit statutory filings, tax remittances, and other regulatory reports.
- Contribute to special projects, process enhancements, and system implementations as required.
- Recognized Canadian CPA designation (CA, CMA, or CGA).
- 2 - 3 years of post-designation experience.
- Strong technical accounting and financial analysis skills, with the ability to interpret and communicate complex data.
- Experience preparing consolidated financial statements and managing month-end close processes.
- High level of proficiency in Microsoft Excel and experience with mid- to large-scale accounting software.
- Ability to work independently, think critically, and adapt quickly in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively across departments.
- This is an in office opportunity.
- Base salary: $85,000 – $100,000 DOQ
