What You’ll Be Doing
  • Taking a leadership role in driving Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) improvements across assembly lines and cells
  • Leading continuous improvement projects and root‑cause resolution of production and quality issues
  • Facilitating Product Focus, scrap, and First‑Time‑Through (FTT) meetings while managing action plans
  • Ensuring production cells operate efficiently with effective error‑proofing, quality controls, and standardized work
  • Collaborating closely with Manufacturing Systems Technicians and production teams to resolve operational challenges
  • Improving key performance indicators including scrap, throughput, cycle time, tool cost, and process capability
  • Developing and implementing setup instructions, parameter sheets, and checklists
  • Working with functional leaders to deploy scalable, cell‑based manufacturing systems that support long‑term customer and business success
  • Developing Statements of Requirements (SOR) and performing capacity planning aligned with customer demand
  • Leading run‑off, implementation, and capacity verification of cell‑based manufacturing equipment
  • Partnering with Program Engineering and Operations teams to support flawless launches and well‑documented APQP
  • Owning cell‑specific documentation including PFMEA, process flows, control plans, standardized work, and equipment procedures
  • Leading PECNs, including customer change submissions and internal compliance
  • Ensuring compliance with IATF 16949, ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001, and internal policies
  • Coordinating continuous improvement initiatives and performing other duties as required
What We’re Looking For
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Applied Science, or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Experience in manufacturing with strong understanding of automotive quality and environmental standards
  • Proficiency in modern quality tools and methodologies, including:
  • Error Proofing
  • Design of Experiments
  • Statistical Process Control
  • FMEA
  • PPAP, PSO, and structured problem‑solving
  • Strong project planning skills; familiarity with Microsoft Project is an asset
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and conflict‑management skills
  • Proven ability to lead and influence at all organizational levels
  • High integrity, accountability, and results‑driven mindset
