- Support and provide input to building out strategies for product management and maintain the end-to-end product life cycle processes, roles and responsibilities.
- Document User Guides including visual aids for various roles that are part of the governance model.
- Provide timely system support for internal users on the product functionality
- Guide and create processes for support and maintenance of the related services
- Guide and create processes for onboarding of new teams and client portfolios.
- Responsible for the product planning and execution throughout the product lifecycle, including:
- Gathering and prioritizing product and customer requirements
- Defining the product vision
- Ensuring that the product supports the company’s overall strategy and goals
- Gain a deep understanding of customer experience:
- Identify and fill product gaps
- Generate new ideas that grow market share Improve customer experience
- Drive growth
- Create buy-in for the product vision both internally and with key external partners
- Develop product pricing and positioning strategies
- Translate product strategy into detailed requirements and prototypes
- Scope and prioritize activities based on business and customer impact
- Work closely with engineering teams to deliver with quick time-to-market and optimal resources
- Drive product launches including working with client relationship team, executives, and other product management team members
- Act as a product evangelist to build awareness and understanding
- Represent the team by containing users to solicit feedback on products and services
- Experience delivering PRDs with prioritized features and corresponding justification
- Experience working with external third parties to assess COTS products and compatibility.
- Experience running beta and pilot programs with early-stage software products and services
- A team player with a track record for meeting deadlines, managing competing priorities and client relationship management experience
- Knowledge and understanding of application and technology architecture definition and integration needs related to shared infrastructure and middleware
- Experience and knowledge in providing logical technology analysis at functional level.
- Experience with Platform services, APIs and databases.
- Knowledge of the design and architecture of cloud deployments
- Knowledge of development frameworks/technologies
- Experience in structured methodologies for the design, development, implementation and maintenance of products and services
- Experience with virtualization technologies; VMware, Server virtualization; and within the following application development frameworks: Java/J2EE, Spring Framework, AngularJS, Python, Node.JS, HTML, JavaScript, C++, SQL, API, Microservices, and container technologies.
- 10+ years experience in planning, designing, implementing, evaluating, and analyzing large transactional middleware platform with distributed computing
- Strong working/architecture knowledge of N-Tier environments, Intel and Unix platforms, Cloud Computing, Networking.
- Technology vision and architectural leadership
- Knowledge of Enterprise Architecture gating processes
- Knowledge of the technology aspects of Service-Oriented and Container/ Component-based architecture and design
- Knowledge and understanding of OPS Corporate I&IT information architecture strategy, policies, plans, current and emerging IT architecture principles, methodologies, mechanisms and techniques, to analyze, develop and implement application and technology architecture
- Experience in managing end-to-end product lifecycle from requirement gathering to product retirement
- Experience in documenting and presenting product roadmaps, requirements, backlog, functional description and user guides
- Experience working with implementation teams to build and roll out products
- Experience providing support to CRMs and Operations staff
- Knowledge of Web Servers, Application Servers, Tools such as Ansible, Kubernetes/OpenShift Container Platform
- Experience with Application hosting service models, pricing, licences, platform evergreening
- Knowledge of Gateways, APIs and Managed File Transfer systems
- Knowledge of various integration protocols like SOAP, REST, GraphQL etc.
- Experience in the developing and managing plans for medium to large projects, including resource management, RAID management and stakeholder management.
