As our next Partner, you will at the forefront of setting the direction of the future strategy of our Forensics, Advisory Services practice at Doane Grant Thornton. You will be entrusted with driving growth and making a meaningful impact on our clients and our team.Strategic Impact: As a trusted leader, you champion the growth and success of our Forensics practice, as an integral part of the broader Advisory Services Team.Client Service Experience: Join our high-performing practice in a key leadership role, where you will bring deep fact-finding and advisory expertise to help client navigate time-sensitive and complex of risk engagements. Balancing competing stakeholder needs and establish a strong foundation for effective risk management and advise across a wide range of matters, including:
- Investigations
- Forensic Accounting & Data Analytics
- Dispute Resolution
- Expert Witness
- Whistle Blower Reporting Solutions
- Cyber Incident Response
- Corporate Intelligence/ Investigative Research
- Corruption, Bribery
- Anti-Money Laundering
- Completion of a Bachelor’s or advanced level degree (Masters) and professional accounting designation (CPA)
- Completion of a specialist designation program such as Certified in Financial Forensics (CFF), Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE), Certified Anti-Money Laundering Specialist among others
- 10+ years of relevant experience in a professional services environment, with demonstrated leadership in conducting financial investigations, forensic accounting, litigation support, fraud-related dispute resolution, and AML related engagements
- Established experience providing expert testimony across courts and other forums
- Proven success growing a practice through relationship development, market insight, and actively anticipating client and market needs
- Proven ability to lead complex client engagements at both local and national levels
- Strong people leader with experience developing advisory teams, coaching talent, and collaborating closely with clients and colleagues, and maintains a high standard to quality, excellence, and continuous professional development
- Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to establish trust with clients and colleagues at all levels and influence decision-makers
- Desire to learn and grow, and be an integral part of a team that puts “we before me”, where agility is a mindset, and where you trust your colleagues to have your back
