- Help review and distribute quarterly and annual reports, including the financial statements of your sectors insurance companies and other legal entities.
- Take part in and manage projects addressing possibly complex matters.
- Participate in detailed analysis reviews, including the quarterly analytical review.
- Manage initiatives to align, streamline and automate processes.
- Participate in continuous improvement of deliverables based on the changing needs of internal and external partners.
- Help facilitate the audit process and liaise with internal and external auditors.
- Supervise related duties (pension fund accounting, ad hoc management requests, etc.).
- CPA designation
- Minimum of 8 years of relevant experience in accounting and accounting standards (IFRS)
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Can work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Can learn quickly
- Strong analytical skills, insight and discipline
- Leadership skills, team player, independent and efficient
- Can interact with a variety of people at all levels of the organization, including management and certain external contributors
- Intermediate level working with Excel
- Knowledge of P&C insurance industry an asset
- [Bilingual (French and English)] Need to interact on a regular basis with an English-speaking clientele and colleagues across the country
