You are a story driver who breaks news and comes prepared to daily pitch meetings, actively watching ongoing developments for new angles. You bring a deep list of contacts who reflect the diverse and changing population of Canada. You embrace experimentation in your storytelling in order to reach new and younger audiences, and underserved communities.You can manage multiple projects under tight deadlines and are able to regularly collaborate with other journalists across the CBC newsroom.You will ensure that all are met, while providing fair, balanced, accurate, thoughtful and immediate coverage to the communities we serve.This job involves working a compressed week Saturday to Tuesday, including early mornings and evenings.
