Job Description:Our client is anticipating a future need for an Intermediate Accountant to join their team in Calgary, Alberta. This role is suited to a detail-oriented accounting professional who is ready to take on increased responsibility within a collaborative and fast-paced environment.Key Responsibilities:

Support full-cycle accounting processes, including journal entries and reconciliations
Assist with month-end and year-end close activities
Prepare financial reports and supporting schedules
Reconcile balance sheet and bank accounts
Assist with budgeting and variance analysis
Maintain accurate financial records and ensure data integrity
Support audit preparation and compliance requirements
Collaborate with internal stakeholders across finance and operations

Requirements:Requirements:

2-4 years of accounting experience
Post-secondary education in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
Strong understanding of accounting principles and month-end processes
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
Experience with accounting systems (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, or similar)
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
High attention to detail and accuracy
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
