- Develop, implement, and update a territory business plan to drive sales results with targeted healthcare providers
- Analyse sales data to identify opportunities and incorporate insights into your strategy
- Customise sales calls to address the unique needs of healthcare professionals, including Endocrinologists, Primary Care Physicians, Diabetes Nurse Educators, and Pharmacists
- Organise and conduct product education sessions within budgetary guidelines
- Liaise with community hospitals and pharmacists to ensure optimal product usage
- Attend conferences, symposiums, and seminars to promote products and stay updated on market trends
- Demonstrate leadership at national sales meetings, district meetings, and training programmes
- Manage territory budgets for Continuing Health Education (CHE) and product samples
- Provide mentorship to new hires and contribute to district and corporate objectives by sharing best practices and leading regional initiatives
- Build and maintain strong, long-term customer relationships through a relationship-based selling approach
- Collaborate closely with your immediate sales team and work cross-functionally with internal stakeholders
- Bring energy, motivation, and a strong work ethic to a fast-paced, field-based role
- Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Business, Marketing, Communications, Science, or a related field
- 5 years of sales experience preferred; pharmaceutical sales experience is not required. Experience in consumer, commercial, or marketing-related sales is also considered.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and relationship-building skills, with the ability to engage customers effectively
- Collaborative approach and ability to work well with team members and cross-functional stakeholders
- High energy, motivation, and the ability to succeed in a fast-paced, field-based role
- Ability to manage time and priorities effectively
- Willingness to learn, accept feedback, and develop professionally
- Experience using CRM tools or sales tracking systems
- Exposure to B2B sales environments
- Legally authorized to work in Canada
