Business Analyst

• Degree, diploma, or certification in Accounting, Business, Computer Science, Software Engineering, Business Analysis, or related discipline.
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in business analysis.
• Ability to express complex project concepts effectively, both verbally and in writing, to diverse audiences.
• Strong facilitation, negotiation, problem-solving, and mentoring skills.
• Prior work experience at a client or in the client's industry

• Knowledge of Business Analysis best practices.
• Strong customer service focus with the proven ability to develop and maintain effective working relationships with team members, stakeholders, and management.
• IT methodology and/or process implementation background.

• Effectively collect, document, and steward business requirements to deliver key business analysis artifacts using best practices and tools for the design and development gap analysis.
• Identify scope, benefits, constraints, and risks.
• Work with the business to understand and outline the business and process areas that have opportunities and constraints.
• Understand the current standards, policies, and procedures and, in the context of those, the implications of any recommendations.
• Perform detailed analysis of business problems for use in solution design.
• Document and diagram the existing environment and data flows.
• Provide expertise to Program and Project Managers in the design, planning, and governance of business processes.
• Facilitate sessions with stakeholders to drive out requirements.
• Gather non-functional requirements such as security, capacity performance, and availability from the business.
• Act as a liaison between business and technical resources.
• Other project activities as assigned.
