- Minimum of 5 years of work-related experience in planning, municipal planning, building, construction, and/or engineering
- Knowledge of and experience obtaining permits, licenses, agreements, and approvals for major infrastructure and transit projects
- A degree from a recognized post-secondary institution with specialization in planning, engineering, or related field
- Knowledge of relevant legislation procedures and permitting requirements, including the Ontario Water Resources Act, Building Code, Planning Act, Metrolinx Act, and the Municipal Act
- Experience with Environmental Assessments and the Province of Ontario's Transit and Rail Project Assessment Process (TPAP) would be an asset
- Experience with carrying out effective stakeholder engagement in securing Federal, Provincial, and Municipal permit approvals
- Experience with large-scale infrastructure projects in Ontario, and specifically P3 project experience, would be an asset
