Position Available: Full-Time Live-In Senior Care I am seeking a compassionate, reliable, and dedicated individual to provide 24/7 assistance to my 94-year-old Mother who will be discharged from the hospital soon after receiving treatment for a broken left wrist. The position entails a full-time, live-in commitment for a contract duration of 6 to 8 weeks, commencing ideally on the 21st of April, 2026. Given the work schedule that covers all days of the week and various shifts, you will be required to help her dress and change, assist with getting in and out of bed, and prepare or heat meals for her. The caregiver preferred for this role should ideally be a female Personal Support Worker (PSW) who is adept at senior care and fluent in Italian. My Mother is also navigating through the challenges of dementia, and thus demands someone with an empathetic, patient demeanor and practically trained in Alzheimer/Dementia care. A background in working with such health conditions, as well as arthritis, will be advantageous. In light of her dementia, the duties will admittedly extend beyond care to include housekeeping chores, laundry, maintaining bathroom cleanliness, assisting with walking, dressing, grooming, and toileting. This engaging role does not necessitate driving, and hence, no requirement for a driver's license, nor will it involve automobile use.
