- Conduct policy research and analysis
- Develop briefing materials for senior officials
- Coordinate with relevant internal and external stakeholders on policy priorities
- Provide advice to management and stakeholders on key policy issues and questions
- Provide project management to ensure relevant regulations, legislation, and policy projects are aligned with government direction and stakeholder input, where relevant.

- Creative Problem-Solving: Assesses options and implications in new ways to achieve outcomes and solutions is key when performing policy analysis and navigating and managing complex issues.
- A Bachelor's Degree in public administration, public policy, political science, business, or another related field.
- Supplemented by four years of progressively related experience in policy analysis and development.
- Significant understanding of government or public sector policy development and decision-making processes.
- Knowledge of government or public sector business planning, reporting and decision-making processes and structures.
- Knowledge of the land-based and online gaming, alcohol and cannabis industries and the implications of these industries.
- Knowledge of cross-jurisdictional and provincial red tape reduction practices, policy, and legislation.
- Computer proficiency utilizing Windows-based applications (such as Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint).
- Knowledge of ARTS
