
Product Specialist, D&O/E&O (Commercial Insurance)

- Working in partnership with the sales team, drive the acquisition of new clients directly or indirectly in collaboration with leaders and the Sales team.
- Act as a key product specialist for leaders and provide support and guidance on managing client files (including ensuring the provision of a high level of caution is appropriate, providing insurance advice to clients, identifying insurance needs, and being the key liaison for communication between the client and insurer including coverage and claims matters, as well as support to them).
- Adhering to established service and quality standards, both externally with clients and internally with the sales and service team.
- Develop and build relationships with new and existing clients as well as internal and external referral sources and centers-of-influence.
- Provide monthly statistical analysis and reporting on key metrics for the D&O/E&O sales.
- Responsible for D&O/E&O sales targets.
- Develop and execute sales and marketing strategy, in collaboration with the sales team and marketing team, as aligned with the Company’s business plans.
- Monitor and adjust plans in accordance with sales strategies.
- Lead the development/execution of strategic initiatives and projects to proactively source and develop new business opportunities in alignment with the Company’s business plan.
- Minimum of 5 years of proven Commercial Insurance/Brokerage professional sales, with expertise in D&O/E&O
- Direct sales experience in the D&O/E&O segment, is required
- Business-minded with a passion for technical excellence
- CAIB or CIP designation (or working towards designation) would be an asset
- Registered Insurance Brokers of Ontario License is required, or willing to obtain
- Financial analysis skills would be an asset
