Position Overview:Lambert Nemec Group, Winnipeg's leader in Permanent Recruitment, has partnered with our client in the search for a Controller. Reporting to the Chief Financial Officer, the Controller will oversee financial management, ensure efficient financial processes, strategic planning, and contribute to achieving the company’s growth goals and objectives.Responsibilities:Oversee and be hands on to all aspects of accounting such as AP, AR, in an efficient and effective manner * Prepare annual budgets and forecasts, and set strategic objectivesOversee completion of all daily accounting tasks and regulatory reporting, including government remittanceCollaborate with both internal team members and external accountants to compile year-end working papers and review engagement schedules.Internal financial statement preparation along with preparation of other financial reports following generally accepted accounting principles * Conduct comprehensive evaluations of policies, processes, and procedures to identify areas for improvement

Responsible for project cost tracking, margin analysis, and operational cost reporting to support decision-making.

Requirements:

A Canadian professional Accounting Designation CPA (CA, CGA, CMA)
