Job Description:THE ROLE:We are seeking an experienced Manager of Business Applications to lead the strategy, delivery, and optimization of enterprise systems that support core business operations. This role blends leadership, technology, and business problem-solving-partnering closely with stakeholders, IT teams, and vendors to ensure applications are secure, scalable, and aligned to organizational goals.Key Responsibilities:
  • Own and evolve the enterprise application roadmap in alignment with business priorities
  • Lead, mentor, and develop a team of application analysts and technical resources
  • Serve as the escalation point for complex application challenges and decisions
  • Oversee implementation, integration, and lifecycle management of ERP and other core systems
  • Ensure applications meet performance, security, and compliance standards
  • Partner with business leaders to translate requirements into effective technical solutions
  • Drive process improvements through automation and application capabilities
  • Manage vendor relationships, contracts, and application budgets
  • Establish governance standards for architecture, data integrity, access controls, and documentation

  • 5-8+ years supporting enterprise business applications
  • 2+ years in a people leadership or senior application ownership role
  • Strong ERP and enterprise application experience with a business-first mindset
  • Proven leadership skills with experience managing teams or major application initiatives
  • Solid understanding of systems integration, data flows, and business processes
  • Experience with ERP, CRM, HRIS, or financial platforms (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Workday, NetSuite, Dynamics, Salesforce)
  • Experience working in cloud-based and SaaS application environments
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Project delivery experience using Agile, Scrum, or Waterfall methodologies is an asset
  • Relevant certifications (PMP, ITIL, or application-specific) are considered an advantage
