- Work within a team of engineers to prepare regulatory documents required for registration and reconciliation of nuclear class components and systems.
- Interfacing with AIA to complete system registration.
- Interface and support the Client in interactions with the regulator.
- Be able to prepare process documents such as flow sheets, specifications, etc.
- Support the delivery of project work within schedule and budget.
- Work with the team Lead to provide regular schedule updates.
- Support piping design team by providing process related input and review of stress reports and design drawings.
- Respond to the Client’s questions as it relates to code requirements, reconciliation and registration of nuclear class components and systems.
- Engineering degree (in Mechanical, Chemical or related Engineering field), a minimum of 10 years of experience, with at least 3-5 years of nuclear experience.
- Registered or eligible to register as a Professional Engineer in the Province of Ontario.
- Experience working with CSA N285.0., particularly related to classification, registration and reconciliation
- Experience in system registration process and interfacing with AIA.
- Experience in working in multidiscipline engineering team and external customers.
- Experience in EPC project where control of schedule and budget are important to meet project goals.
- Knowledge of ASME Code Section III, ASME Code B31.1 is an asset.
- Strong communication skills, including delivering technical reports and specifications accurately and effectively.
