Client Location: Toronto (Onsite: 7.25 hours/day between 8:00 AM and 5:00 PM, Monday to Friday)

Conditions may change based on organizational requirements and at the discretion of the Hiring Manager.About the EngagementAkkodis is seeking an experienced Senior Full Stack - Software Developer to support complex, large-scale enterprise application development within a public-sector environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for full-stack architecture and development, including UI design, API development, database design, CI/CD integration, cloud-native development, and ensuring WCAG-compliant, scalable, secure web applications. This role requires strong hands-on experience with modern JavaScript frameworks, API-driven architectures, cloud development, and enterprise-level software engineering best practices.ScopeDesigning and implementing full-stack solutions aligned with enterprise standards and architectureDeveloping responsive, accessible web applications using React, Next.js, JavaScript, TypeScript, and REST APIsDesigning and deploying relational database structures and performing data access through Entity Framework or other ORM toolsIntegrating front-end applications with backend service components.Assignment DeliverablesFull-stack technical design documentation and application architecture aligned with UX/UI artefacts and solution architectureDevelopment of cloud-native and enterprise-grade web applications (MVP and full releases)UML design artefacts using tools such as PowerDesignerSupport for QA, including unit testing, test automation, performance testing, AODA testing, and regression testing.Expertise RequiredMust Have:Experience with Entity Framework or other ORM toolsStrong expertise in REST API developmentStrong proficiency with React andExpertise in JavaScript and TypeScriptHands-on SQL and relational database experienceExperience withKnowledgeable in Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG).Nice to Have:Unit testing frameworks: NUnit, XUnit, MSTest, Karma, JasmineMicroservices and container-based platform experience.Security ClearanceRequired.ImportantThis is a business-to-business engagement.
