Client Location: Toronto (Onsite: 7.25 hours/day between 8:00 AM and 5:00 PM, Monday to Friday)

Conditions may change based on organizational requirements and at the discretion of the Hiring Manager.About the EngagementAkkodis is seeking an Intermediate Full Stack - Software Developer with strong experience in full-stack web application development, Java-based systems, Oracle databases, and modern open-source frameworks. The consultant will support ongoing systems enhancements, sustainment, integrations, and release activities across enterprise platforms. This engagement involves hands-on design, development, troubleshooting, and support of mission-critical applications within a complex, multi-tier environment.ScopeDesign, implement, and expand data pipelines using extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) activities.Translate technical systems specifications into tested, production-ready applications.Develop detailed programming specifications, generate code, and conduct unit testing.Troubleshoot application issues and provide technical support during implementation, migration, and conversion activities.Assignment DeliverablesDevelop and enhance full-stack application components across front-end, back-end, and database layersProduce technical specifications, programming documentation, and system design artifactsBuild and maintain REST APIs and integrations with existing enterprise systemsConduct unit testing, debugging, and performance tuning of developed components.Expertise RequiredMust Have:Strong experience with Java, J2EE, JSF, HTML/DHTML, XML/XSLHands-on development using Spring, myBatis, Bootstrap, jQueryProven experience in n-tier web application development with Oracle databasesExperience with responsive web development and AODA-compliant solutionsStrong SQL skills and experience writing Oracle SQL scriptsExperience working in Agile/Iterative SDLC environmentsNice to Have:Experience with Java WebLogic, Tomcat, EJB, and Servlet technologiesFamiliarity with Azure DevOps, JIRA, agile/scrum tools.Security ClearanceRequired.ImportantThis is a business-to-business engagement.
